Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a 4 hour team race at Hwy 89 Raceway in Mayflower on March 28th. The race will start at noon and will be a two rider/two bike setup. We will have Pro down through C class, a utility class and there will also be an Ironman class. This is an ATV event but anyone is welcome to come out and watch. For any question feel free to reply to this post or email: Drew - drewper327@yahoo.com or Daniel - hillian126@hotmail.com. Look forward to seeing everyone!!!!

Hey grizz, even if there is no more in your class everyone is still working for the overall so just enter that puppy and run it with your surprise teammate

IMO...

This should stay simple, we are not "GNCC"

If the ATV came from the factory with racks, it is a UTE. Otherwise it should run in one of the other classes.

These are NOT "Utility Quads", they are "Sport" quads.
Kawasaki KFX 700 v-force

Can-Am Renegade™ 800

Wolverine 450 Auto

btw, "DA BEAST" is running good now, as of now, I'm planning on participating in this race.

First AHSCS race I entered was old crow in like 02 on a Scrambler in the B class. Brought home 4th place. 4x4 was quite handy at times.

Maybe my horrible 13in of ground clearance will come in useful lol till the corners anyway lol.
slowpoke82 Posted - 02/10/2009 : 08:04:15 AM
Our plan is to make the course wide enough so that Bud's conversion will make it through. So getting stuck between trees should not be a problem. We did learn that there are some major holes out there. I got the scrambler hung up, Chris Alexander got the foreman hung up and Bud and Daniel almost flipped the conversion.

I think the renegades run in the class with vforces? I may be wrong. I guess I could push you yfz if I dont wind up stuck berween two trees lol
slowpoke82 Posted - 02/09/2009 : 09:30:08 AM
I think it would have to be the 800 that comes factory with racks. Not the renegade. At least I don't think that one comes factory with racks? I know that the GNCC's have several UTE classes but with us just having one I figure we should stick to the factory racks idea. We really want this to be a fun event that will help bring out some new guys. So please don't hear us trying to be all technical. This has been being discussed since before the end of last year. Being our first year we all want to get our feet wet and have fun and build on something for next year and all the years to follow. Thanks for all the interest guys. Keep the questions coming.
PapaBear Posted - 02/09/2009 : 08:04:27 AM
They allow the 800 to run all the UTE classes in the GNCC. It is one very mean ATV, but I think it still qualifies as a UTE. I know if I here one coming I'm getting out of the way. I wouldn't even make a good speed bump. I'm not the finale word on this but I'll get you a diffident answer.
HillianJr. Posted - 02/09/2009 : 07:54:35 AM
I think that is more of a sport utility even though its a 800. Those dude are SWEET! If anough dudes show up we could have a sport utility class or just have them run C-class or something and score them different. IDK on that one
jmooney Posted - 02/09/2009 : 06:55:19 AM
my friend has a can am 800, will this be legal to run in the utility class?
