Posted - 12/06/2009 : 9:44:06 PM would someone clue me in on how these team classes are conducted? Do teammates ride their own bikes at the same time, swap one bike between the two of them, alternate laps, or what? Thanks :) |

Posted - 12/06/2009 : 6:03:02 PM Some single track was added today, and there will be more added as this week goes on. Shane,Lance and I have been out there all day. I already have some tight sections without the single track, it's just not so tight you have to worry about clearing the tree's. We will be working up until race weekend to give you everything we can. We will keep you up to date when needed. |

Posted - 12/06/2009 : 12:05:57 PM Greg Alexander, Bill Barnes, Randy LyBrand and I drove up to Pettigrew early yesterday morning and worked from 9:00 a.m till right before dark working on the trails. We cut in the PeeWee, Kids and Short course tracks. The long course was already in.
Regarding the location and trail, this reminds me ALOT of Loretta Lynn's GNCC race, except there are not ruts and worn out places. It is open, it has good flow, very very few, if any "tight" sections. There are rocks, but not like Sturkie or super lift.
Danny and Shane will be working on the long course trail and sections of the kids and short to "clean up" the trail. We were all very excited after seeing what Danny has done up there. The scenery up here is AWESOME! At this time of year with the leaves gone, there are several spectator spots where you can see riders on different sections of the trail. |

Posted - 12/03/2009 : 09:27:27 AM Works for me, like Danny said, this is really a "series" benefit race anyway. The more that show up the more flexibility we will have...
How about those that are planning on being at the race post here... |
