Posted - 04/20/2010 : 10:04:41 AM What happened to this place? This is just a condition report.
Last year's race was a little too open for me, however... My neighbor invited to ride at Hwy89 on Sunday and, WOW, this place was opened WAY up in the woods. There is no trail there in case anyone was going to practice woods riding. The MX track was a dustbowl since there hasn't been any rain but they've changed the MX track a little here and there. The owner plans on putting in some plumbing soon to be able to water the track down though. That's a plus.
$13.50 up from $10 to ride there now. I was kinda dissappointed the trails got so destroyed by 4wheelers but I guess if the landowner's not, I shouldn't be concerned about it. I don't want to say it wasn't worth going because a little MX practice (since i suck now) was good for me, but it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as the hare scramble last year.
I guess on a day when it's not so dry out, this place would be a good practice track for MX.
