Re: Official Resignation
Ruth you have been a steady hand and guiding leader for the Series. I know that under your term of service the Series has flourished. Thank you for all those times you wisely advised other officers and promoters on issues and rules related to fair competition. Thank you for the excellent work on imp...

Re: YEAR-END MEETING
Or another alternative might be to just add clear cut finality at the end of the existing rule. “The race promoter should engage with all series officers present at the event to address a protesting rider’s concerns and resolve the issue in accordance with the series rulebook if deemed necessary. Af...

Re: Discussion for rule changes for PeeWee in 2023
My impression was wrong. Just looked at the season points page and what I see is the Kids A row had 3 participants making most of the races, and then on the Kids B row I saw more participants, a couple of which rode up a class by also participating in PeeWee A row and the Pee Wee B row having less p...

Re: Discussion for rule changes for PeeWee in 2023
Have we looked at race entry data to see what last year’s change did to attendance / participation? I wasn’t able to make as many races as normal, and the few I did make what I observed was the vote last year to change the class structure essentially decimated the Kids B class, because it appeared s...

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations
I second AJ’s nomination of Jacob Hyatt as President. He will be a good advocate for the Series, and has the institutional knowledge having served as Contingency Director and Vice-President, and Promoter. That’s a lot of great on the job training that will benefit the AHSCS.

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations
I’m wondering how the pay is set up for the scoring director and scoring crew. Is it per rider? If so, how much per rider and how is it disbursed among the director and those helping? Scott I don’t remember exactly what the amounts are but I can tell you it’s not enough. Ten years ago, scoring was ...

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations
I nominate Jason Harmon for WebMaster . This past year he completely renovated the website for the better, and upgraded the message board. He’s helped promoters with getting race information out and as if all of that wasn’t important, maybe more important is that he attends all the races and is invo...

If you would like to compare other off-road AKA cross-country dirt bike racing Series in the region and how they structure classes that are comparable to the AHSCS here’s a resource list and some high level notes. Some are similar to AHSCS, and some are not. Hillbilly GP 6& under SOURCE: https://har...

Re: 2021 GNCC Season
Welp I’m afraid all of Team Thad is gonna need to reassess the situation. He clipped a tree at the sprint enduro and is broken up pretty good. He’ll be off the bike for a while.
I’m switching my pick to Stu Baylor, with Lane Michael as a backup.
