The Pruss Family
Most of you know Mrs. Karen, and Amy & Chris, her daughter and son in law, that do scoring. Greg and Karen have been a part of this series as long as I can remember. Their beautiful son/brother Mathew has gone on to be with his Lord and Savior. Please hold their family close in your prayers in the c...

Official Resignation
Since I’ve heard the rumor mill has gotten busy about why I am resigning, I thought I would come here to clear things up. But first I need to say some things. Don’t act surprised! Y’all know I love to talk! Lol! I was voted in as scoring director at the end of 2013. My first season as scoring direct...

Re: Rules
ANYONE is eligible to be an officer you just have to be a member of the series. I don't know why the rule was created, but it seems like a good thing to me. I wouldn't want just anyone to be able to be nominated for being an officer. I think that at the current cost of membership, it says that you a...

Also, if anyone would like to come and work with scoring and see what it's all about, please give me a holler.

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations
Thank you, Jimmy. I absolutely love my AHSCS family! I think most of y'all know that. At the end of 2019 I started hunting for a replacement. I'll be honest, I was burned out with some things. But in October of this last year, I got a 2nd wind. I talked to Scott. I told him how much I love doing sco...

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations
There was a lot of information lost on the old website. It’s been that way since Shelly Brown was scoring director maybe even longer. I guess you would have to ask Farrell and then ask whoever came before him. I know it’s been that way a long time. I started in 2014. Before me it was Kristen Calvin ...

2012 bylaws
There was a question at the year end meeting about the bylaws. I went back through some old old emails from when I was VP. This is what I found. I’m sure they’ve been updated yearly. Donny takes care of keeping us up to date with the state. Articles of Organization OF ARKANSAS HARE SCRAMBLE CHAMPION...

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations
Scoring team gets $3 per rider day of race. It’s split between all members of the scoring team that you see in the trailer on Sunday. Scoring director gets $1 per rider once per year for membership management. Scoring director gets 40¢ per mile for hauling equipment. For the record, none of these am...

A message for our AHSCS family
Saturday, Mike Clark passed away at the Wilderness Buffalo Ranch. Please pray for his wife and his daughter. He was riding with another rider & went down. They don’t think he hit a tree. They think it’s was natural causes, but his family is getting an autopsy to find out for sure. I know John Ott wa...

Re: Pre Entry
It automatically rolls over to the next race. You don’t need to do anything prior to the race. Just be sure to come scan your helmet or if you need a new transponder, get it programmed. See you this weekend!
