Re: Pee Wee & Kids Classes

To jumpstart the conversation, which changes were you eluding too as far as lining up with AMA guidelines? Thanks in advance for your input.

Re: 2021 Old Chisum Trail

GoPro footage was supposed to happen but my new AMA approved GoPro mount is currently lost in the mail. I ordered it 3 weeks ago and still 'patiently' awaiting it's arrival. If all the stars aligned right, there may be a chance for some GoPro footage later this week (don't get your hopes up unless y...

Re: Thoughts for 2021

1) I have only been to a handful of races that had a white flag and I have never noticed not having it. My only concern is that it adds another layer of thinking and problems that the scoring team would have to address during the race. you have to know who is in the lead, when they are in the lead, ...

Re: How about a super sr. 60+ class again ???

I think this idea would work, but may require an AP adjustment for the A50 and the B/C 50 class to make it friendlier. I think a super senior 60+ class that only race for an hour that lined up where C50 currently does may be a good deal

Re: 2021 Officer Nominations

I was hoping someone else would jump in to be Vice President, but that didn't happen! I appreciate the nomination and will accept this year. Everyone else that has an interest in being a more integral part of the series is more than welcome to jump in at any time. We love the series, love the folks ...

Re: Anyone have any new rides for 2020?

Glad to be back on the bike. I'm sticking with the trusty Beta 300.

I prefer the 2 strokes for most of our races, but there are a few open tracks that a 4 stroke may be the way to go.

Officer Nomination formality

As a formality,

I nominate Donny Whitfield as Series treasurer. He has done a fantastic job year after year.

I nominate Nicholas Hopkins as Contingency officer, because his life is about to get complicated the next 3 months and I want him to enjoy it again next year.

I second that nomination. I can't imagine the series without Ruth as scoring director. Just keep her off the motorcycles and we will be alright.

Re: Race conditions for The Warpath

The track is 7.8 miles total, and has some grass track, a few rocks, nice elevation change, and lots of flowy single track. Pro riders will be around 20 minutes a lap and classes will go down from there. There is nothing too technical that a C or D rider should have any issues. There are some rain c...

Re: 2019 Officer Nomination

I appreciate the nomination and the kind words that Ruth Gould has mentioned and it means a lot to me. My family joined the series in September 2013 and we have not missed a single AHSCS event since that day. We love the series, we love the families, and we love the relationships that we have develo...
