Re: Race Location Poll
Sounds nice but too far away. Its not the "out of state" issue. If it was closer to the majority of racers, I wouldn't mind.

Re: Input & meeting info for members
PA or Announcement systems: Nice but not really need in my opinion. I would invest in getting the scoring to have live updates to web. FB, twitter, what ever.. Gate Fee: Hate to because it hurts when you bring family and friends. Suggest charging by Vehicle Pee Wee Race times: The track is better to...

Re: The Best Hare Scramble Race Bike for 2015?
There is no Magic bike out there. Judging from the Pro's the 350 four stroke seam to be a top pic. If I would pick my fav. a GagGas / Ktm 300 2 stroke or the Sherco 300 4t does it all pretty well. A 125/200cc 2t will make you feel like a super hero. Being able to hold it wide open all day long worki...

Re: Input & meeting info for members
As a Quality Eng. I do a lot of statistical analysis of data to monitor process. After analyzing the AP data from the last few years I find that it holds up pretty well to the Class AP ranges. Most racers have a gradual improvement in AP that stabilizes and shows only slight improvements after some ...

Re: 2014 YEA Banquet
At the last Cedarville race Mike mentioned that he was improving one of his buildings and was nearly finished. Would that be available for the banquet and maybe a fun ride or race?

Re: Input & meeting info for members
I have always heard of problems with riders not being in the "Right" class in my 40 years of racing. The AP has been the best system so far but it is not perfect. Monitoring is important and the best at doing that is from other racers. A polite suggestion to the racer or a e-mail to the Scoring Dire...

Re: Tech Help!
Checking the cap and first bit of wire is a good bet sense it was just taken apart. It is a good annual serve on 2 strokes and 4 strokes to remove the stator to make sure they are well grounded to the cases. Just a little corrosion will cause the stator to over heat. The pick up coil generates a mag...

Re: Tech Help!
Preston, How did this problem start? Did it just not start one day or did it quit running? The manual will give too much info. that may just confuse thing. I would bet the coils and stuff are OK it just not getting a signal to fire. I would start by pulling the stator cover and making sure the Prima...

Drop your 2 lowest scores. If those are missed races (0) your points will not change. Otherwise your and the competitions points will change alot.

Re: Sturkie Race Reports?
Sturkie, Jojo and I rebuild his rear shock the week before getting the ATeam’s Kawasaki Sport Center, S3part, Freegun, Bangerz Sunz, KX100 ready to race that weekend. He was looking forward to the tighter, rockier goat trails as he has always done well there. The nights Camping and the huge meal was...
