Re: 2017 Officer Nominations
I would like to nominate Ruth Gould as Scoring Director. Without any question the Scoring Director is the single most important roll at each and every race. Ruth has spent the last two year in this roll and has proven that she can handle the job no matter the condition. In addition to this the Gould...

Re: 2017 Officer Nominations
Thank you very much for the nomination. I accept. I would continue to do my best with helping AHSCS grow its membership, and also help AHSCS promoters with news and information about their events. I have really enjoyed serving the Series and would be glad to keep trying to help.

Re: Condolances to Stan and family
Matthew's exuberance and abundant energy is what I will remember most. He would be pit riding before his race, then go race, and then afterwards be pit riding again. My heart goes out to the Rayburn family, my sympathy to them all.

Cedar Creeks Thanks
Another big race weekend and I wanted to put in a word of thanks to all those who helped out this weekend. I have specifics... Thank you Ruth Gould, Karen Pruss and Amy Harms and any other scoring staff, for doing another great job and making improvements overall. That pre-registration online is the...

Re: Live results
I think our Scoring Director has looked into Live Timing and part of the challenge is the wireless data usage rates to run for the roughly 2.5 hours it would take to cover the long course races. I'm not 100% on that... but I think that's one challenge. And then, of course the other challenge is adeq...

I nominate Shelby Johnson for webmaster. Thank you for the nomination. I accept. I would like the opportunity to continue to serve the Series through administering the website. If elected I would do my best to use the website and social media to attract new racers to the series, help inform existin...

Re: Short classes
Why is the women's class combined with the short b class? According to the rules any woman of any age can sign up but there is an age limit with the boys? Over the last several years the participation level in the Women's class dropped off considerably. That class was designed for the ladies to rac...

Jason Raines Yamaha Demo program is going to be in Nashville, Illinois on October 16th & 17th. He has this model and all of the other new models in the line up on the demo fleet truck. I plan to get up early Saturday the 17th and drive up to test ride these new models. I'd be glad to have anyone who...

Re: Thank you from River Road Racing
Just wanted to pile on with the thanks! Thanks to all the folks who were involved in putting on this race. Big thanks to Jay Hackett. This race earned the Race of the Year voted on by the racers in 2013 and again in 2014 and Jay's dedication to putting on an outstanding event comes through and sets ...

Re: Input & meeting info for members
I like Saturday practice or chance to ride. I live in the middle of town. I own no land. There's no decent public place to ride nearby. When I have the chance to travel and camp for a race weekend the opportunity to ride a practice lap might be the first time I've gotten to ride since the last race....

Re: Officer nominations 2015
I accept the batch nomination. I would be pleased to continue serving as WebMaster for the series. 2014 was a major overhaul of the site and some good progress was made but there's more to be done. I entered my first Hare Scramble in 2010 and loved it immediately. I'm still learning how to race and ...

Re: The Best Hare Scramble Race Bike for 2015?
Shelby...don't do it. You will only get your feelings hurt by some rider in your class when he beats you on a 4 year old clapped out bike. Well at this stage I'm not worried about trying to win races of even get on the podium so much as just tired of needing to keeping replacing worn out stuff and ...

Oh and one more thing... can you explain in real simple terms the REAL difference between a KTM XC and KTM XCW ? This ain't no trick question. Just simple terms. 5th grade reading level please.
