No, no riding after a race that I know of. But some races allow riding on the Sat. before the race. Travis Dupriest would be able to answer that for the Japtons race?

Mike, I didn't see your first post. When you say "beginner rider" that can mean a lot of things. I would say that you should be able to safely operate a bike, before you start racing.
