Re: Thoughts for 2021
FWIW worth the race monitor at scoring has the race time on it. Only takes a flash look to focus on it and it will tell you a lot of info in a split second.

Re: 2021 Old Chisum Trail
A quick update on the progression of this track. Our first weekend to ride was shortly after a week full of very wet weather. This immediately led to finding a few spots on the short and long course where it was clear the ground wouldn’t hold up to a full race. This last weekend we re-routed a coupl...

Re: 2021 Old Chisum Trail
Racers we are beyond excited to bring this track to life. The team put in 12 hours on Friday & Saturday to make the final connections of existing track that was flagged and cut. We had excellent help yesterday and late in the day a small group of riders were able to put in the very first test laps o...

Re: 2021 Old Chisum Trail
Racers just a minor update to share that while many of you were enjoying the fine riding at the Almosta Race or wherever you spent your New Year’s Day we wrapped up the final bit of flagging for the Old Chisum Trail race track. We are sure to make some adjustments in a few spots that may change the ...

2021 Old Chisum Trail Information
The XC3 Team has been spending weekends prepping for your first race of the 2021 race season. The majority of the property is a working cattle ranch, and everywhere them cows do not go is where we will be racing. The majority of the ranch is bottom land cattle pasture, and we won’t use any of that s...

Re: 2021 Schedule and Banquet Info
I hate to ask. Our landowner recently petitioned the County to have his road name changed to Old Chisum Trail and he really likes that name for our race. Can we change from Chisum Valley to Old Chisum Trail? Thx

Re: Course Difficulty
Ridge thanks for sharing the feedback. When we have the acreage to cut and prep a long course you don’t have to find the most difficult terrain. The best easy terrain alone will wear racers out. Our entry data shows our C & D rows make up our biggest entry fee revenue, and that helps the Series oper...

Camping Details Camping is primitive. If you are "Glamping" feel free to bring your generator. We advise bringing extra fuel. There are no gas stations nearby. The camping (hay) field is not golf course smooth but it has been freshly mowed low to the ground. After entering the gate we recommend lin...

Re: 2021 Officer Nominations

They are all great people with a passion for the Series. I’ve spent the last five years volunteering ...

No plan for a new ride yet, but after watching the RMATVMC head to head review of the 2019 vs 2020 YZ250FX I am thinking that itch may have to get scratched. https://youtu.be/_jQdN4i4cZk

2019 Year End Meeting Recap
AHSCS Members, Here’s a quick recap to the year end meeting. The 2019 gate fee changes, that were implemented this year have helped promoters and landowners put on successful events. Can’t race without them. Given the modest fee increase, race attendance and racers have been very strong. Our youth c...
