Re: Year-End Award Voting Forms

Don't hold me to this, but I think it's going to be on Saturday evening before Bear Creek. Here are the poll results from that question on the Year-End Award form: 45 Votes - An awards ceremony at the race site on Saturday evening before Round 1 at Kirby (Similar to last year) 31 Votes - A more trad...

Re: AHSCS sponsors for 2022

The series doesn't currently have sponsors, per se, but you can find information regarding the contingency programs offered to our riders for 2021 here:

http://www.ahscs.com/contingency/

I assume that those programs will be pretty similar for 2022.

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations

I nominate Jason Harmon for WebMaster . This past year he completely renovated the website for the better, and upgraded the message board. He’s helped promoters with getting race information out and as if all of that wasn’t important, maybe more important is that he attends all the races and is inv...

Re: 2022 Officer Nominations

Scoring team gets $3 per rider day of race. It’s split between all members of the scoring team that you see in the trailer on Sunday. Scoring director gets $1 per rider once per year for membership management. Scoring director gets 40¢ per mile for hauling equipment. For the record, none of these a...

Re: 60+class

Greg, I didn't realize so many members had signed up as members in the 60+ class but you are right, there were actually quite a few! I'd love to see more participation in this class for 2022. Are there any more 60+ riders out there that would commit to this class if it were changed to 2 hours? And f...

Re: Pee Wee & Kids Classes

I think there are a few valid reasons for at least trying Peewee A/B. It does seem like virtually every other series offers kids older than 6 the opportunity to race a dedicated 50cc class. With the relatively large number of Stacyc/Strider racers at Wilderness ranch, hopefully that means that we ha...

Re: STACYC Races

I love that there was such a good turnout of kids on Stacyc and Strider bikes at Wilderness Ranch! Our 5 year-old took a few laps on her Stacyc on Saturday and was excited to race but ended up getting a little nervous that night and decided that she wanted to practice some more at home first. Hopefu...

Re: Contingency Questions

Thanks for the info, Loren! I’m not exactly sure how the contingency process works but I’ve sent this post this up the ladder so hopefully we’ll be able to get it figured out. Just out of curiosity, is there anyone out there taking advantage of any of the other manufacturers contingency programs? I ...

2021 Year-End Placement & Award Qualification Criteria

Just a reminder that for the 2021 season, your best 8 of 11 races will count towards your year-end placement. For example, if you race 10 events, your best 8 scores will count for the year-end standings and your other two scores will be dropped. Also, please keep in mind that in order to qualify for...
