Bike Choices of the Top Ten Overall Riders at Camp Story

I always find the wide range of bike choices to be interesting so I figured I'd make up this little graph in case anyone else was interested as well.

2020 Backordered Year-End Awards Update

As you may remember, several of the Year-End award choices from Fly were not available when it came time to hand out the awards at our ceremony earlier this year. We had originally gotten word that the items would be available "soon" but that in-hand date kept getting pushed further and further back...

Re: First race

Glad to have you joining in on the fun! Since it's your first race, I'd probably look at the Junior B - Large Wheel class that races at 10:00am to get a taste for what it's like. You would also be eligible for the 1-hour Schoolboy class in the 12:30pm long course race, but I must warn you that the S...

Re: RISON RACE

I'll be adding the information to the website for this race soon, but since you asked, here's a sneak peak of the info that I have received from the promoter: Brand new course with fresh trails. The terrain is a mixture of river bed soft dirt and fresh southern chocolate dirt. The only rock that has...

Re: COVID Stuff

I don't see anyone paying much attention to the new CDC guidance anyway at the races so is it now just a formality? Not sure what you mean, Pete. Ever since the Covid rules were instituted last season, everyone I've seen has been doing a great job of wearing their masks and staying socially distanc...

Re: 2020 Awards Ceremony - Update

After reviewing the location, the plan is to now hold the awards ceremony at the Amphitheater (which is located in close proximity to Campsites 1-34) with the pavilion to be used as a back-up in case of rain.

Re: 2021 GNCC Season

Even after missing a round, Stu is definitely not out of it at this point. With the way the GNCC points structure, if he can go on a streak, he'll make up points fast! With Thad out, I feel like it'll be between Stu Baylor and Strang for this title. I also don't think you can count out Ben Kelley to...

The ceremony will now take place at the pavilion near the marina at Kirby Landing. You will be allowed to ride your bike or an ATV from your campsite to the pavilion, being mindful not to harm any of the ground surrounding the pavilion.

Honestly didn’t expect Grant to win it!

I think this season has the potential to have 5 or 6 different winners.
