i will be coming in friday night, just wondering where to stay if my wife and son comes along. i seen salem was about 20 minutes away but not sure of lodging there.

I think Salem is like 5 minutes away.

I don't think it's 5 minutes away from Salem it's about 6 or 7 miles back to hwy 412 from Sturkie and then about 4 or 5 miles on to Salem from there, but you won't find anything closer than Salem that I can think of.

In the other thread on Sturkie, i posted phone numbers for hotels in Salem. Mt Home is a little farther, but still close enough and has several hotels if the ones in Salem fill up. Can't wait!
