Last race of the summer, whatcha going to do next month?

I wanna do a FREE - FUN - FAMILY - RIDE sometime this summer.

It needs to have water involved and have some epic Trails for some short rides and a lot of soaking.

I’m thinking Boogieville, It offers a secluded spot on Lee creek to camp/swim/play. This could be a place for a “big boy” ride because it is not very accessible for the kids or less daring riders.
I can only make the trail in/out to the river easier, not easy. Hey Jojo can do it.

Kirby Landy SP has alot to offer for the family, cool cabins, patio, good trails just not Free

White Rock has the trails but I don’t know of a great camp/swim area by them.

Is there a better spot that anyone could offer?

I’m open on a date. Maybe near the end of July? Please post your thoughts on who, when & where or e-mail me robtoole10@gmail.com

I was hoping to have more water to make this family friendly but the gods are not with me. Some small spots of water in the creek but be prepaired for the heat!

Kirby typically won't let you unload your off road vehicle in the camp grounds. They make you go down to the trail head and unload there and when you get ready to go back to camp load them up and carry them a quarter mile to your camp. I know it does not sound right but one year they even made us do it when we were up there working on trails. They may have laxed on these rules as of late but don't be suprised if they don't allow you to unload in the camp grounds.

Good input guys, we do have some interest. Let’s do this.
Pic a date and location like this

Toole, any date, 1 Byrds 2 Kirby 3 Mill Creek (gimi more info. on MC)

- East of Byrds is Wolf Pen SP. free entry, nice water & facilities but I don't know if there are trails nearby, anyone know?

-Jonesboro ouch, but if we could Truck-pool OK

Now its your turn.

Im all in for Mill Creek. Since most on this board arent members of the Razorback Riders, we would need to camp upriver from that. There are plenty of spots right next to the river. There is plenty of single track to get our hands dirty on.

Any weekend is good for me til September.

Paul, a group of us are riding at Mill Creek this Sunday. Look on the Officers link on the left and get my cell and give me a shout.

Jonesboro has water and bathrooms as well. However, as far as "epic trails" go...I wouldn't say that, lol. They are good, though! And those who are wanting to avoid the rock and ride some fast single track, it would certainly suit you.

On the other hand, i heard brock creek was a great place. Supposedly some pretty good trails there and pleny of them. Not only this but its sort of a central location to everyone.

Just some thoughts.

The next MotoTrial in Tulsa will be at night. Not a bad idea. Single track @ night is soo cool.

Justin, could you pick out a good spot at Mill Creek that would allow for some good swimming, camping, parking, any facilities? and report.

If there are no objections or better suggestion I think we should go with MC on July 21.

If that doesn’t work for someone we can still change it.

Travis. 8am Sunday.

Rob, no facilities at MC. BYOR (bring your own roll). Plenty of creeks to wash off in if they aren't dry!

There are a few waist deep spots. Im pretty sure me and Judy are the only two Razorback riders, so I am going to call John tonight and see how many people we could host on the campground. There should be less than 10 of us so it might be ok. There is a spot we can camp up the road from Razorback Riders before trail head.

I don't want to throw a stick in the spokes but there are free camping spots on the mullberry. That water is deep enough to swim
