Has anyone ridden at Sandtown Farms north of Batesville? Apparently they have been having organized rides there (similar to what Byrd's does at their ATV rallies, just on a smaller scale) for the past year and they tout 110 miles of trails on public and private land. It's geared toward ATVs but bikes are welcome too. Does anyone have any input on this?

Supposed to be just @10 miles outside Batesville and over 3,000 acres. I have a buddy that went quad riding there. I think the owners want everyone to go on a guided ride first. Maybe after that a person could be turned loose??

That's what I gather. I spoke with them and asked if they had any GPS tracks of the trail and he recommended going on a guided ride first. As soon as I'm healed up enough from my second hip surgery, I'm going to haul the old Big Bear over there and let him show me around, which should be in three to five weeks.

Old? I prefer experienced! Doing fine and recovering from my second hip resurfacing (similar to replacement but stronger). Been out of commision for the last couple of years but hope to be back riding my CRF by summer and maybe even hitting some races later in the year. I'll be at some races before then pitting for my son Andrew since he has signed up for the series already. In the mean time, I'll be doing some dual sport riding and keeping everyone in line at Hytrol! I have badly missed being at the races and hanging out with everybody!

Guess I need to open my eyes. I live in Batesville, and didn't know there was anything like that! Who do you contact about it?
