Hello everyone,

I am going to decline my nomination for President in 2022. It would better serve our series to have a President who can be at the races on a regular basis. My work schedule at the moment does not allow me to to that and I think the series will benefit from a new President. I would like to appoint Jacob Hyatt to fill the roll as President for 2022. This will allow Willy Burns to fill the roll as VP.

Thank you,

AJ

Andrew, thanks for the nomination, but I have served for several years and if Scott is willing to serve, I will work with him to make a smooth transition.

I hate to see AJ go as President as he is a great representative of our series. He doesn't meet a stranger, races hard, and is 'mostly likeable'. I will accept the nomination as President and hope we can keep the series growing and hopefully continue to provide a community for our families to enjoy.

Thanks for your service AJ

Thank you, Jimmy.
I absolutely love my AHSCS family! I think most of y'all know that. At the end of 2019 I started hunting for a replacement. I'll be honest, I was burned out with some things. But in October of this last year, I got a 2nd wind. I talked to Scott. I told him how much I love doing scoring and told him then that I cannot do this on my own. We talked and he is 100% all in with me continuing to do scoring. I promise we will not just walk away ever. I quit a job one time in the month of August and continued to help then until December of the same year. I scored an entire race just after breaking all the bones in my ankle. I'm not ever going to just quit. And just to reassure y'all more, if I were no longer capable of doing this, there are written instructions along with videos on how to do everything that I do. I hope you all know that my commitment to this series is just that. All of the decisions that I make in the behind the scenes stuff are always on the side of what is best for AHSCS. I 100% accept the nomination to continue as scoring director.

Also, if anyone would like to come and work with scoring and see what it's all about, please give me a holler.

I second AJ’s nomination of Jacob Hyatt as President. He will be a good advocate for the Series, and has the institutional knowledge having served as Contingency Director and Vice-President, and Promoter. That’s a lot of great on the job training that will benefit the AHSCS.
