Zac the way most poker runs work is everyone draws 1 card at take off. Then there is check points along the way where everyone draws another card. After everyone gets 5 cards at finish line the best hand wins. This is the only way I know about, but could be different at this one.

Makes sense, thus the term "poker run". Sounds like fun wish I was available to go.
