I stumbled onto this news... I guess I had not been paying attention but in case you had not heard Yamaha has built a 4-stroke bike purposed for Hare Scrambles and cross country racing. More info here.

I heard about it but I wish Yamaha put that kind of effort into their YZ250 2 stroke.

I'd heard rumors of a 300 2 stroke for the woods but I think that may have only been a rumor.
