According to "Roberts Rules of Order" any active member may nominate another member for a position of election. Unlike a motion, nominations for elected positions do not require a "second" to be put on a ballet of election.

Thank you for your nomination Andrew and I do accept.

For those that don't know me, I am from NWA.

I am married to a wonderful wife Kathy with 2 children Zac and Cassie. I have been a part of the AHSCS Family since the first race of 2012. My entire family has made nearly every race since that date with Cassie and I making every race to date.

I became Vise President of the series in 2014 and continued to hold the position in 2015. We are members of the Razorback riders club in NWA. My family and I have also promoted "Japton's On Fire Hare Scramble" for the last 2 years.

To me the strongest elements of this series is the overall "family atmosphere" that it offers while putting on a quality series, and still generating excitement for the off-road community as a whole.

For 2016 I look forward to make as many races as possible. My family will be promoting "Japtons on Fire" and hope to still be one of the officers of AHSCS.

Thank you, Travis! I accept. (& I hope Scott does too!) lol!

I do feel the need to apologize to y'all. I feel I have made a few more mistakes this year than last. I also haven't stayed on top of checking APs as well as I think I should've. The first half of the season for all of us was a little rough with all the rain. The 6 race cut off didn't hit for most riders where it has in the past, so it's been strange with AP advancements. I'm always listening to y'all though. If there's ever something you feel I need to check out, I would love it if you would text me or call me. You don't even have to tell me who you are. You can send me an anonymous message from a strange phone if you want. Ha ha! I appreciate any & all information from other eyes & ears.

Thank you for the nomination. I accept.

I would like the opportunity to continue to serve the Series through administering the website. If elected I would do my best to use the website and social media to attract new racers to the series, help inform existing racers, and also to help promoters to provide news and information about upcoming races. I would also like to say the slate of Officers that you have working for you in the Series now does a very good job. They all communicate very well, they attend nearly every race and support your Series. I would be glad to serve alongside all of them because they are all focused on making the Series as best as it can be.

More About Me
I got my first dirtbike in 2010, all my other motorcycle experience before then was on road bikes. In fact I still ride my 07 Suzuki GSX-R 600 to work most of the year when the weather is good. I'm motorcycle nut. I think after the bicycle the motorcycle is one of the greatest inventions of man-kind. Sometimes I can't believe how happy it makes me to get out and ride a motorcycle. My first hare scramble race was a muddy Todd Perna event in 2010 and although I did poorly I was instantly hooked. That year our son Luke, was born. Since then I kept racing and improving. Last year I had the misfortune of injuring of my neck and so this year I did not race but I have sure enjoyed making as many races as we could and watching Luke get hooked on dirt bikes just like dad. I'd really like to thank all the fans who get up early to watch the PeeWee racers. If you have never seen the PeeWees I hope you can get up early and support these little racers sometime. If I have not had the chance to meet you at a race please say hello sometime. I'm usually somewhere around our "Gunpowder Racing" trailer. For the 2016 season we plan to make as many races as possible.

Guess I missed this. I of course accept the nomination for president. We have a great bunch of officers that work very hard to try and make a race series that makes everyone happy.

I'm always open to new ideas and constructive criticism.
