A MESSAGE FROM THE ROSS FOUNDATION

Post by Yvonne »

Extra Caution Statement:

For the next several months, users need to be very cautious of logging activity while using the Jack Mountain unit. The Ross Foundation has several large harvesting operations planned in the center of the ownership that will increase interaction between recreational users and logging equipment. These timber stands will be marked at main entrance points with signs stating that the area is closed due to forestry operations. Users should expect encounters with multiple log trucks while on Ross Foundation Roads and County Roads. Please remember that log trucks require long distances to stop, and often need the entire road due to their length and weight. Thanks for your cooperation and please be safe!

Please remember to check our website at www.rossfoundation.us for notices regarding the Jack Mountain Unit.

We appreciate your cooperation.
