AHSCS TEAM CHALLENGE

Post by ZacCrowl »

Ok folks we are going to introduce a little more fun and competition into 2014. This year we are introducing the AHSCS TEAM CHALLENGE. Rules are below. We expect they will need tweaked evetually, but believe we have a good start. Ruth Gould has volunteered to be the TCC for right now. So get your teams together and get them submitted.
THIS COSTS YOU ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN LOSE BY GETTING A TEAM TOGETHER

QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS POST HERE SO EVERYONE CAN GET ANSWERED AT THE SAME TIME.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AHSCS Team Challenge Rules:
Details

-Teams will be made up of 4 riders, a minimum of 1 member must be from short, kids, or peewee class. The other 3 can be from any class.

-Team managers must fill out a roster 24 hours before the first race a team competes in and send it to the Team Cup Challenge Coordinator (TCC)
This list of racers must list the name (as it will appear at registration), class, and bike number.

-Team name is required.

-If a team member is not listed on a roster before the beginning of the race, his/her score will be disqualified for team points for that race.

-Between Rounds, a team may add or drop riders from their roster.

-The team will acquire points based on how each team member finishes in their respective class for each race. i.e. If “A” member finishes 1st in their class, the team will awarded 22pts, if “B” member finishes 4st in their class, the team will be awarded 17pts. All members scores will be added up for the Teams overall points for the day. Only the 4 active members of the team’s roster will be allowed to accumulate points for the team.

- A racer’s points may only be considered toward the score of one team at a time.

-An AHSCS Team Challenge Coordinator (TCC) will be identified within 2 weeks of the start of the season.

-The TCC must be notified of initial rosters, as well as, any changes or additions to the roster in the time period specified.

-The Team Challenge Champion will be the team who accumulates the most points by the end of the season.

-The trophy will be engraved with the winning teams name for the year it wins. The trophy will remain in AHSCS possession from year to year.

My Fantasy Football league lets the Team keep the trophy for the year and the trophy is handed over to the next years winning team the following year. It is really cool to have your Team name on the Trophy especially after it has been around for a few years.

It might be a little difficult getting it back though.

Ok the ATeam needs some new recruits from the short courses.

We need some committed new riders so we can take this Team Challenge.
We are building at least 2 teams. Here is your chance to belong on the same team as Parker, Trent, Trevor, Shelby, Kelly, Ross, Jojo and Dani.

Send us your Race resume, include a pic, tells us something about you and what you can bring to the team. Its not just speed but dedication, promotion, desire and support

The ATeam is: We are not just the “A” team of champions; we are “ATEAM” of racers with the goals of winning championships, being a positive influence and to assist any/all riders that need help to grow our sport. We are working hard to improve our sponsor’s return on investment year to year by effectively promoting their products

Lance, I am not 100% sure what the A-Team plans are but I know Trevor doesnt have a full team or short course rider so I am sure he would love to get Luke on board! I will try to touch base with A-Team today and Trevor after school and see what we can work out.
