Darrell Judy Memorial Hare Scramble

Post by Ajudy300 »

We have been working hard getting things prepared for this years event. Just like last year, we are offering racing on both Saturday and Sunday. Feedback from the Saturday races last year was mostly positive. We did have some let us know that they would rather just ride all day with their friends rather than race with them. I know we can't please everyone, but we do try. So this year we have trimmed out a totally separate course for those to riders enjoy. It is, however, more beneficial to race for a couple reasons.
1- $5 of every entry fee will be donated to the AHSCS scoring crew to help fund the new scoring trailer. So not only will you be having a great time racing with friends, you are also helping to improve your series.
2- The loop we will be racing on is made up of a 3 mile section of Sunday's race course. In an effort to try and keep a fair and even playing field for Sunday's race, this will be the closest anyone will get to actual pre riding the long course track.

Saturday race course info:
Entry fee -$20.
3 mile course.
Two- 30min motos
Awards top 3 all classes.
Live engine start
BIKES AND ATVS WELCOME TO RACE

Saturday practice loop info:
$10 practice fee
3-4 mile loop
Open to ride all day
BIKES ONLY

Saturday night Spaghetti dinner after the races. $5

Sunday race course info:
Peewee- A training wheel friendly .5 mile loop around the parking area.
Kids course- A fun 2 mile course with some beginner friendly trails and a little bit of mx.
Short course- 3.5 miles long. Same as kids course but with more miles of trail.
Long course- 7.7 miles of a variety of terrain. We got the flowing single track, the twisty two track, 1 mile grass track, the over/under bridge, some hill climbs, some mx, and a brand new optional endurocross tire jump near the finish line.

Other items of interest:
$5 Gate Fee
FREE CAMPING!!
Spectator friendly racing action
Concessions open all weekend
Event T shirts- short and long sleeve available $15
A few raffle items- proceeds go to series to help fund scoring trailer.
Hard Luck Awards
Kross Kountry MotoGear will be set up with a limited selection of parts and apparel.

There's a very good chance we won't have to deal with any dust this Sunday That's nothing new around here though. We are the experts at hosting muddy races(6 years in a row now). Most of you know, but there's a still some first timers that don't, this track handles wet conditions extremely well. The dirt gets greasy. Especially in the fields. Lots of slipping and sliding fun. No mud bogs to bury your bike in. So no worries there. The weatherman says the best chance for rain is Saturday night. And that it could stick around til mid morning Sunday. Do your self a favor and come prepared for a great time in the mud. See ya there!
