Re: 2018 Officer Nominations
Thank you Clew540 and I do accept.
For those that don't know me, I am from NWA. I am a retired firefighter and current business partner of Zac's Lawn Care with my son. I am married to a wonderful wife Kathy with 2 children Zac and Cassie. I have been a part of the AHSCS family since the first race of 2012. I have made nearly every race since that date.
I became Vice President of the series in 2014 and continued to hold the position through 2017. We are members of the Razorback riders club in North West Arkansas. My family and I have also promoted "Japton's On Fire Hare Scramble" for the last 4 years.
To me the strongest elements of this series is the overall "family atmosphere" that it offers while putting on a quality series, and still generating excitement for the off-road community as a whole.
For 2018 I look forward to making most if not all races. My family will be promoting, "Japton's on Fire" benefit race for the 5th year. I love and am excited about our series.

Since I am accepting the nomination for President I will be vacating my position as vice president of the series for 2018. In doing so I would like to nominate Shelby Johnson to take my position as vice president of the series and strongly encourage him to accept this nomination.

I second the nomination for Shelby Johnson as Vice President. Shelby is a great asset to the officer's and he is a perfect fit for the VP position.

Re: 2018 Officer Nominations
I am accepting the nomination for Vice-President. I really love the Series and it's become a big part of our family activity throughout the whole year. If chosen I promise to work hard and do everything I can to keep the Series progressing forward, growing membership and finding ways to introduce new racers to the sport.

I second the nomination of Ruth Gould as Scoring Director. She's shown enthusiasm and dedication to her job which normally starts while many of us are still sleeping .
