Racers and fans! A few weeks ago we had a well designed plan for parking in the field near where we started the race last year. THAT PLAN IS ABANDONED!
Given our weather situation we are requesting you to park on the gravel, and paved lots on the other side of the lake.
In the diagram shown here you can see these lots. We completely understand these parking lots are not convenient to our race starting area, or the scoring area. However, the roads to these lots are paved, and the lots are paved or hard pack gravel. You will not get stuck. All of these locations are only a short ride around the lake to reach race registration, scoring and the race start. The field where we parked last year will not hold up. We know most of you are wearing 33 buckshot mudders, and we know you you think you can get in and out without any problem, and we know you won't plan on purpose to get stuck, and we also know you won't plan to cut deep ruts on purpose either, and we also know that 98% of you have enough common sense to understand why we're asking for everyone's cooperation on parking.
