Warpath Race Practice Canceled Saturday

The forecast weather and timing are not conducive for holding practice Saturday. The local forecast is predicting an 80% chance of rain with the possibility of some strong storms on Saturday morning. And the good news from KATV’s weather blog is… “Strong westerly and southwesterly winds will push very dry air into the state from west to east Saturday afternoon. This MIGHT cause temperatures to spike into the 70s behind the storms.”

Please help us spread this news. We know many of our race families are in the process of making travel plans, and we wanted to delay this decision as long as possible.
We’ve discussed this decision at great length. We know how much every enjoys practice.

In the interest of keeping the track as awesome as it can be we must cancel Saturday practice. We have worked our tails off this winter to set the stage for this to be another award winning race. We want to track to be in the best shape possible not only for this year but also next year. You can see from the track that terrain is steep, and the overnight winds will play into our favor for awesome racing on Sunday.
