What a weekend!! Thanks everybody for coming out and participating in our hare scramble. We finally (after 7 mudders in a row) lucked out on weather for Sunday’s main event. There were still a couple mud holes but the other 98% of the course looked to be near perfect when we did our sweep lap. We aimed for having a fun course with a few challenging spots to give riders something to talk about and I think we delivered. Hopefully all of you had a good experience at our event and will be back next year for more!
Huge thank you to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who helped keep this event from derailing this weekend. That Saturday morning storm caused us a lot of extra work but with a great team effort, we got the job done with minimal problems during the races.
We also would like to thank Freedom Powersports NWA and Heartland Honda. These two local dealerships hooked us up with a very generous amount of giveaways to be handed out during our awards ceremonies each day! In return for their support of our event, I would like to encourage any of our local riders and racers to consider these two dealerships when it comes time to purchase a new or used bike, new parts for your bike, or any service to your bike. They will get you taken care of!!
Another big THANK YOU goes to the land owners. If they weren’t so kind to offer us the land to do this on, we wouldn’t even be talking about how great the weekend was! So thank you Danny, Blanca, Barbara, Donna, Angela, and Mike for letting us do this year after year.
