ATTENTION RACERS!
The Bear Creek Hare Scramble is right around the corner and here's a few things you need to know.
There will be no food vendors at the event (Corp of Engineers rule) so pack you sandwiches. There are some eateries in Kirby and Glenwood, which are both close.
Also the track WILL BE CLOSED to practice laps / pre-running beginning Friday the 29th. Racers may walk or bicycle the track on Friday and Saturday. NO MOTORCYCLES. Riders are welcome to use the Kirby Landing to Daisy trail for any and all riding.
The Corp has advised they’ll be enforcing no parking rules along the main roads. They said we could use the amphitheater area and we are checking on the availability of the marina parking area also.
We are looking forward to returning to Bear Creek and on behalf of the Arkansas Dirt Riders we are excited to welcome you back to the Bear Creek Hare Scramble!
