Tips for Successful Sales
Write out your advertisement. Be descriptive. Include as much information as possible. Be sure to tell how an interested buyer can get in contact with you especially if you do not check back here often. Don't forget to list your price.
Use your smart phone to take photos of your item for sale. Pictures are worth a thousand words! There are many ways you can put your photo into your advertisement.
One option is to Upload the photos to Facebook or any other online resource such as Flickr, or PhotoBucket.
Once uploaded view each image, and right click then choose "Copy Image URL"
If using a smart phone tap and hold on the image then choose "Copy Image URL"
Then choose the [img] option on your post. Clicking this option loads the tags
"[ img ] [ /img ] " into the body of your message.
Paste the image URL right between the two tags.
A second option is to use the Upload attachment tab in the post editor. Choose "Place inline"
Repeat as necessary for as many photos as you need.
When your item has sold please follow up by EDITING your topic to mark it as sold and then LOCK your topic.
